Local Notes 23rd November 2014

ITS HERE AT LAST

After weeks of training and fundraising the Mayo Abbey Strictly Come Dancing is upon us. This weekend see all the stars in action over two nights Friday and Saturday (28 and 29. Eight couples take to the floor with no firm favourites at present. A lot will depend on how they take the corners and avoid getting bumped or distracted. Gliding along the floor and smoothness of movement will play a big part in the outcome. Now Mayo Abbey will have dancers to grace the dancehalls and ballrooms of Mayo.
Taking part are, Kieran Connolly and Denise Duggan, Stephen Murphy and Sinead Scahill, Tim Oates and Pauline Duggan, Alan Prendergast and Anjelica Judge, Sean Prendergast and Josephine Donoghue, John Joe Sloyan and Jenny Brennan, James Trench and Claire Keogh, Shane Vahey and Helen Lally.
