Train the Trainer FETAC level 6 Component Certificate
This programme is designed to provide the learner with an extended knowledge of delivering training to adults. It will cover the theoretical principles and practical methodologies of adult education. The programme is suited to those trainers or prospective trainers who will support adult learners. Topics to be covered include:

• Adult education theory and methodologies
• Being an effective trainer
• The needs and learning style of adult learners
• The trainer and effective communication
• How to structure an accredited training course
• Conducting a training needs analysis
• Using resources and visual aids
• Evaluating training programmes
• Giving and receiving feedback
• The assessment process

It is highly recommended that trainers be able to undertake a training
programme or part of a training programme during this programme so as
to maximise their own learning and apply theory to practice.

Assessment
The assessment of this programme consists of:
Assignment 50%
Skills Demonstration 50%

Assessment

Participants will be expected to complete an Assignment (50%) and Skills
Demonstration (50%).
